In this tutorial I’m showing you how to remove Divi shortcodes when changing your WordPress theme. This will be done automativcally and will be done within a couple of minutes.
Step 1: Download Divi chortcode cleaner
So, if you want to remove Divi shortcodes you would need to download Divi shortcode cleaner plugin (it’s free. You can download it here https://www.sean-barton.co.uk/2017/12/bye-bye-divi/
Don’t forget to donate the plugin author Sean for it.
Step 2: Install and activate Divi Shortcode cleaner
Go to Plugins >> Add new and upload Divi shotcode cleaner (Bye Bye Divi).
Step 3: Remove Divi shortcodes
Go to Settings >> Bye Bye Divi and run a test first. This will show you what is the currents status and what will be left after Divi shortcode removal. If you are satisifed with the result then click on Bye Bye Divi button. See the screenshot below.
NB! Don’t forget to make a full database backup before you start.
